In support of KAPE's efforts to build an Innovation Learning Center in Cambodia, linked to projects supported by the Oak Tree Foundation and USAID, Mr. Steven Bredenberg, a software developer at Apple Corporation, has donated $6,000 to this effort. Mr. Bredenberg's donation will be matched dollar for dollar by Apple Corporation as part of Apple's new Corporate Social Responsibility policy. The donation has been provided to KAPE's long-time partner, World Education, which also supports the projects linked to this endeavor and who will use the donation to help KAPE complete the on-going construction. KAPE would like to thank Mr. Bredenberg, Apple Corporation, and World Education for their strong support of these efforts. The new Innovation Learning Center will establish a unique learning experience for poor Cambodian children studying in Grades 1 to 9.
