THE 1ST MEETING WITH THE MANAGEMENT TEAM OF TEXAS UNIVERSITY

Since the center establishment for the Master’s Degree of Education in Mentoring in late 2019, NGPRC has been improving its efforts to build significant international partners of education to promote teacher education in Cambodia and populate the reputation of National Institute of Education in the world.

 

On 27 May 2021, New Generation Pedagogical Research Center (NGPRC) hosted its 1st Meeting with the Management Team of Texas University, United States of America. This meet was happened after signing the Memorandum of Understanding between The Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport, the Kingdom of Cambodia, New Generation Pedagogical Research Center of National Institute of Education and the Texas University on 20 May 2021 to seek for further Collaboration and Support the Master's Degree of Education in Mentoring of NGPRC as well as leadership, educational research; especially action research on mentoring.

 

In this Memorandum of Understanding, it is agreed the institutions will explore:

 

  1. The potential establishment of a collaborative educational agreement for research and development programs related to mentoring,
  2. Encouraging the exchange of students to enhance/broaden the international experience,
  3. The potential development of virtual teacher professional development programs by ELRC for the NGPRC,
  4. Avenues for strengthening partnership and furthering academic excellence in the United States and Cambodia, and
  5. The potential development of a detailed Memorandum of Agreement.

 

This Memorandum of Understanding will have a duration of two (2) years starting from the final date of signing on 20 May 2021. It is very proud of New Generation Pedagogical Research Center (NGPRC) that has been working very hard in order to improve the mentoring in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
