“E-book for Khmer” Commences

In the upcoming academic year 2015-2016, KAPE will provide tablet and application namely, “E-book for Khmer” to five schools in Kampong Cham Provinceand Tbong Khmum Province in order testing a new technology-based approach inthe area of mother tongue instruction and reading materials to improve thereading scores of young Cambodian children. KAPE has been cooperating with theMinistry of Education, Youth and Sports to develop basal readers for Grades 2and 3inwhich children can gain confidence by reading at the proper level (as opposedto the one-size fits approach that all readers currently in use).
