National Online Workshop on Life Skills Dissemination

On 5 July 2021, Life Skills Learning for Adolescent Girls (LSLAG) project hosted its national workshop on “Life Skills Dissemination” through Online platform (ZOOM), presided by H.E Im Koch, the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport. There were approximately 116 participants, who were invited to attend, were Director and Officials of the Vocational Orientation Department, Deputy Director of the Department of Secondary Education, Office Director of the Department of Primary Education, Director of the Department of Information Technology, Department Officials of the Curriculum Development, Directors/Deputy Directors and Officials of Provincial Offices of Education, Youth and Sports, Teachers, Representatives from Gap Inc. and other stakeholders.

 

This workshop was aiming to disseminate the 8 life skills manuals that were admitted and approved by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports to be publicly published for use as learning and teaching aids in secondary schools in the Kingdom of Cambodia.

 

“Education is a strong foundation to develop social economy and culture to ensure the growth of sustainable economy. Life Skills Learning for Adolescent Girls is assisting the community schools and NGO partners to prepare and publish this Life Skills manuals and other teaching aids to implement this Life Skills at their local schools to ensure effectiveness and sustainability,” said H.E Im Koch, Secretary of state, Ministry of Education, youth, and sport.
