Long Sovandany, 23, who graduated from Western University and held Bachelor in Finance and Banking, has now been working at the Provincial Post Office in Tbaung Khum province as an accountant. She was born in Kampong Siem district, Kampong Cham province. During Her engagement with CTSP’s activities she was taught the way of leading group study in finance and I enjoyed researching calculation exercises to practice with group. She also volunteered with KAPE to lead high school students in joining the commune council meeting at Vihea loung commune, Krong Soung. Not only the high school students gained in confidence and felt stronger, she herself has more confidence now, that she can stand and speak clearly in front of over 30 students, the school director and she can bring up some ideas for community development. She has encouraged her brother and sister to study hard and she supports them to study English and computers in their spare time as well.

She has been changing her life because she received the scholarship from KAPE through Cambodian Tertiary Scholarship Program (CTSP) supported by the Asia Foundation. She is now very happy and proud of her life to have opportunity to change her so prosperously.
