Mr. Bredenberg has worked in Cambodia’s education system as an education consultant and adviser for over 30 years. He currently works for Kampuchea Action to Promote Education, a large national education agency that he helped establish in 1999. Mr. Bredenberg holds an M.Ed. from Harvard University and has played an important role in introducing the autonomous school concept to Cambodia during the design of the New Generation School Initiative. Mr. Bredenberg has worked in the education systems of several countries over the last few decades including Lao PDR, Cambodia, Thailand, Bangladesh, Albania, and Bhutan.
