ANOTHER GROUP OF VISITORS FROM US EMBASSY TO THE NEW GENERATION SCHOOL IN KAMPONG CHAM

Geraldine L. Richmond, Presidential Chair in Science, Professor of Chemistry from University of Oregon, and the representatives of USAID comes to visit KAPE's New Generation School in Kampong Cham to learn the experiences of the school changes after KAPE has intervened and invested by various donors to improve the education. This school was not developed and very difficult for students to study including buildings, learning and teaching aids and lacking of qualified teachers but now it is so much changed and attract more students to come because there are complete learning aids, qualified teachers and beautiful buildings. Having a great feeling to visit the New Generation School, Ms Geraldine expressed that this school was very greatly changed to help Cambodian students come to learn easily. She also advised some sources of website to the science teacher to search more things. After one hour-visit from the delegates, the New Generation School has powered to share good experiences of changes to its visitors and as an example for other schools in Cambodia to learn as well.
