In order to promote more effective and efficient child education, the United Schools of Cambodia (USC) project hosted its training course on strengthening the roles, responsibilities and duties of the School Support Committee (SSC) on May 8, 2019 at four target schools in Yadao district, Ratanakiri province. The training purpose was to support strengthening SSC members by reflecting the SSC structure in the past progression and amended some SSC structures they have not been undertaking at all. The project staff introduced and recommend them under the MoEYS’ guidelines. After the post-group discussion showed that the members of the SSC's components did not understand clearly about their roles and duties because there were not increased in-school performances. This training provided new supplementary methods to learn. They were committing to develop their roles and responsibilities to take part to promote and develop the education sector. They were happy with KAPE's interventions in their local schools by seeking fund and technical supports to provide them.
