“This is the fourth consultation workshop where we have been conducting ICT studies focusing on Grade 7-11. We learn about Network, WAN, LAN and related Robotics and Code 10. For the Grade 11, we are studying and preparing this curriculum which is similar to the Year 1 curriculum at university that the ICT subject is also a must to put in the curriculum. If compare to my past studies at the university, it was focused on the main point. But the workshop today, I study it in detail of the goal pi, decimal, and octa systems, especially coding used Python including Networking (Eg. WAN, MANs and LAND). The teachers who attend today's workshop are more competent because they have learned more about the NOREC Exchange program from Bangladesh. Because we put this program into the upper secondary school level of the six new generation schools, our students have higher ICT skills than last year. If this program is put into schools other than the new generation, it will make our students more capable." The above was shared by Ms. Sin Lai Heang, ICT teacher at New Generation School during the ICT Consultative Workshop of the NOREC Exchange Program hosted by KAPE at the Meeting Room of Thun Thean Obrum (TTO) on 23-24 May 2024 in Krong Kampong Cham. The workshop was attended by 21 participants who were NGS’ ICT teachers and KAPE’s staff.

The workshop provided ICT teachers with new ICT curricula, ideas, knowledge, and experience from Bangladesh; and allowed ICT teachers to integrate this new curriculum into their normal ICT courses. The workshop minimized the gaps in digital learning among students, especially ICT for vocational purposes.
