KAPE BUILDS EXTENDED SCHOLARSHIP NETWORK WITH RAJAMANGKHALA UNIVERSITY ISAN IN THAILAND

The Vice President of Rajamangkhala University of Technology Isan , Assistant Professor Dr. Narong Polwong (centre in picture), joined the KAPE Director and Senior Technical Adviser at a private dinner in Kampong Cham Province to discuss extended collaboration on scholarships for Cambodian youth in Thailand. Dr. Polwong and his team are visiting Kampong Cham Province on a fact finding mission about New Generation Schools and to sign an MoU with KAPE to formalise proposed collaboration. The University will join KAPE and the Franks Family Foundation in funding scholarships for worthy Cambodian youth who complete Grade 12 at New Generation Schools starting in 2018. The University will provide free tuition and housing while the Franks Family Foundation will support expenses for food, uniforms, transportation, books, etc. This growing network of Thai universities affiliated with New Generation Schools will increase the prestige of the program and make it an attractive destination for motivated Cambodian students who wish to develop themselves.
