US Ambassador Visited IBEC’s Target Schools

AN IBEC secondary School Council in Siem Reap was honored to host a visit from Ambassador  William E Todd, the  US Ambassador;  Ms Rebecca Black, USAID director in Cambodia;  Mr Chan Narin, Chief of Party World Education; Mr Kim Dara, Country Director; Mr Sao Vanna, KAPE’s executive director; and Mr Hin Simhuon, KAPE’s vice executive director; District Office of Education (DOE); Provincial Coordinator (PC); District Program Officers (DPOs); School Directors; teachers; student councils and community representatives.

The students showed the delegation the library development, the new wash station and ICT lab. They also toured the bio-gardens, fish raising pond, and mushroom growing projects developed by the students as part of their life skills training.

Ambassador William Todd led the tree planting ceremony at the end of the visit.
